Gilda’s Club Nashville

Cancer support for everyone.

Fourteen Bonelaw attorneys and staff members joined Gilda’s Gang last year to raise money for Gilda’s Club by running the St. Jude Country Music Marathon in Nashville on Saturday, April 28, 2012. The group trained together and sponsored numerous fundraisers raising more than $5,000 for this amazing cause! Sheri Jacobs, who practices environmental law, serves on the Board of Directors for Gilda’s Club Nashville and led our enthusiastic group of runners and walkers. Sheri is passionate about Gilda’s mission, which is to provide a gathering place and free programs to build social and emotional support to anyone touched by cancer in Middle Tennessee.

An affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, Gilda’s Club provides a non-residential but still homelike gathering place for people with cancer and their families.  Such a place allows for the building of social and emotional support groups that work as powerful supplements to regular medical care.  The organization offers member lectures, workshops, classes, support groups and social activities.
