WaterCooler hosts a “Beer and BBQ” Farm-to-Table Dinner at Bells Bend Farms
WaterCooler is excited to host a “Beer and BBQ” Farm-to-Table Dinner at Bells Bend Neighborhood Farms on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Join us for a locally-sourced feast while watching the sunset over beautiful farmland located only minutes from downtown Nashville.
We’ll begin with a panel discussion led by farmers and experts in the local food movement who will explain the entire process of planting and harvesting the food to providing it to the end user; of the challenges and rewards of local farming; of the importance of the Bells Bend agricultural area to Nashville. Following the panel, Chef Casey Dailey will serve a meal created just for this event.

Networking starts at 5:30
Panel Discussion is from 6:00-7:00
Dinner is served at 7:00
Location: Bells Bend Neighborhood Farm
(At the main house, 4496 Cleeces Ferry Road)
Panelists include:
- Eric Wooldridge, farm manager for Bells Bend Neighborhood Farm
- One of the butchers from Porter Road Butcher
- Allan Powell with Long Hungry Creek Farm
- Jenny Vaughn Harrison, Founder of Feast Together
- Scott Weiss, a local proponent of the Slow Money movement
A 4-course picnic style dinner, paired with Yazoo Brew, will be served after the panel discussion for a cost of $25 per person. Payment must be received at the same time as your RSVP. Bring your own chairs and picnic blankets.
