Charles Robert Bone Appointed to New Metro Council Committee
Charles Robert Bone has been nominated by the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) to join Metro Council’s seven-person committee tasked with reviewing tax-increment financing. In September, Metro Council decided to form a new committee to study how the MDHA “utilizes tax increment financing and to formulate recommendations for its implementation in a more transparent, equitable, effective and understandable manner,” according to Bill BL2018-1315. The mission of MDHA is to create affordable housing opportunities, support neighborhoods, strengthen communities and help build a greater Nashville.
