FOX News Talks to Alex Little about Facebook Privacy Lawsuit

Bone McAllester Norton attorney Alex Little appeared on FOX News’ Shepard Smith Reporting Friday, talking about a California federal lawsuit against Facebook for reading users’ private messages. The class-action lawsuit claims Facebook scanned links sent in messages and shared that information with advertisers, violating state and federal privacy laws. Little, former Assistant U.S. Attorney and a member of Bonelaw’s Criminal Defense and Government Investigations practice, “The lawsuit is very explicit that Facebook relied repeatedly on the affirmation that what you want share privately, you can share privately, and at the same time, they went in there and accessed those messages to find out stuff about you. That disconnect is one of the reasons why they are being sued under California state law for unfair trade practice.”
