Nashville’s Annual Art Crawl CLE will Feature Will Cheek

Bone McAllester Norton attorney William T. Cheek III is slated as a presenter at the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville’s annual Art Crawl CLE, Thursday, Dec. 11. Three art galleries in downtown Nashville will host three different presentations, and attorneys are eligible for up to three hours of ethics CLE credits. Each stop will allow attendees to hear from an expert panel, view art and network.

Will is part of the “Lawyers on Arts Nonprofit Boards: Legal & Ethical Responsibilities” panel at The Rymer Gallery from 2:50 to 3:50 p.m. Other topics include “Understanding Nonprofit & Fiduciary Duties for Arts Board Members” and “Ethical Issues in Representing Pro Artist & Arts Nonprofit Clients.” A reception will follow the workshops.

One of Will’s passions is giving back to the Nashville non-profit community. He has chaired several local nonprofit boards, serves as an advocate for local arts and is a member in the firm’s Non-Profits and Tax-Exempt Entities practice.
