Alex Little Discusses Latest on Amanda Knox with MSNBC

This weekend, Bone McAllester Norton attorney Alex Little discussed the ongoing case against Amanda Knox, found guilty again by an Italian court for the murder of her roommate in 2007, with MSNBC. He discussed the complications surrounding this international case on Friday, and on Saturday, he talked about her possible extradition process, a mixture of diplomacy and law.

“One of the things I think is frustrating about this particular case to folks in the United States is we value finality. The way that we do trials is very different. There is one trial. There may be appeals, but there is only one trial. In Italy, it is very different. The appellate process is much more drawn out, and I think we are seeing some of the benefits in the United States of our system. . .This roller coaster must be impossible,” he told MSNBC’s Alex Witt.

The former assistant U.S. attorney is a fellow of the Truman National Security Project and practices in the firm’s Criminal Defense and Government Investigations group.
