Stephen Zralek is speaking on the panel “Breaking Up is Hard to Do” at AMERICANAFEST: The Americana Music Festival & Conference on Sept. 12. Zralek, Hearst Magazines attorney Nick Beaudoing and singer-songwriter Nora Jane Struthers (previously of the band Bearfoot) will discuss legal issues such as ownership of the masters, debts and copyrights that can follow a band breakup. Additionally, the panel will offer performing artists practical advice about striking out on their own. CLE credit will be available.
