James A Crumlin Jr Attorney at Bone McAllester NortonJames A. Crumlin Jr.Bone McAllester Norton attorney James A. Crumlin Jr. was honored to be one of 15 representatives selected to attend Lululemon Athletica’s Southeast Huddle Leadership / Empowerment Retreat. James and the selectees joined 10 Lululemon team members for a weekend filled with fitness and leadership seminars. In addition to attending the retreat, the selectees will serve as representatives to Lululemon headquarters on behalf of fitness communities throughout their states. James was one of three individuals selected from the state of Tennessee to represent our countless fitness communities. The selectees were chosen based upon their reputation in their respective fitness communities.

In January of 2018, James was recognized by Nashville Fit Magazine for leading Nashville’s best free workout class in 2017. Every Monday and Thursday night you will find James leading nearly a hundred community members through a high intensity workout at the steps of the Tennessee Capitol building. You can read more about the “Capitol Steps Workout” here.

When reflecting upon the retreat, James said his three takeaways were,
“1. Be in the moment—Every moment is precious. It will never happen again.
2. Trust your process—Everyone is doing big things…
3. Follow your faith in God- He will lead you down your path. Just listen. You are right where
you are supposed to be. Your steps are ordered.”

Merging Blue Slated to Provide Music for 12th Annual MLK Fellowship Breakfast

Americana vocal trio Merging Blue will sing at Bone McAllester Norton’s 12th Annual Fellowship Breakfast honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Monday, January 21, 2013. Stirring vocal harmonies and soaring melodies distinguish this group with their stripped-down acoustic approach heavily influenced by the foundations of folk, blues, soul and gospel. Members include Lydia Gott, George Pendergrslots and Heather Lawson, who have individually performed, written or recorded with artists like U2, Taylor Swift, Wynonna and Avalon. Their self-titled debut album includes “Mountain Move,” a stand-up-and-shout number; “Good Lines,” which imbues life’s journey of aging with strength and celebration; and “Heaven’s My Home,” a lovely serenity prayer. On disc and stage, Merging Blue has found a transcendent sound and spiritual and artistic synergy that proves that people from different backgrounds can come together to create a beautiful tapestry. For more, visit http://www.mergingblue.com/.
