Nashville Post's InCharge List is out

Stacey Garrett will Moderate Most Powerful Women Event

Stacey A. Garrett, Bone McAllester Norton founding member and chairperson of the board of directors, has been invited to moderate the Nashville Post’s Most Powerful Women 2015 event. The luncheon will celebrate the accomplishments of four Middle Tennessee prominent female business leaders, and Stacey will lead a discussion on the key events, turning points and principles that have led them to success. Chef Deb Paquette Announces Plan for New Sylvan Park Restaurant

Bone McAllester Norton client Deb Paquette, chef at SoBro restaurant Etch, has announced plans to open a new dinner-only restaurant in the Sylvan Park area of Nashville next summer. Paquette and partners have leased a 3,000-square-foot space in a building at the intersection of 46th and Utah avenues. While details of what the restaurant will offer are still being worked out, yesterday’s news release explained that diners can expect “an inviting neighborhood atmosphere and relaxed menu at the same level of quality and service Etch diners have come to enjoy.”

Bonelaw’s Alcoholic Beverage Law practice provides the licensing for Etch.

Prime Colorants Sold in Multi-Million Dollar Deal

Bone McAllester Norton attorneys Trace Blankenship, Chris Raybeck, Sheri Jacobs and Rick Nickels recently represented Franklin-based Prime Colorants in a $15 million acquisition by Ohio-headquartered A. Schulman Inc. Prime Colorants produces custom colors and additive concentrates for the automobile and construction industries, two sectors in which A. Schulman Inc. did not have capacity. Prime Colorants has approximately 50 employees and has been in business for 38 years.

TracBack Solutions’ Acquisition Featured in the Nashville Post

Bone McAllester Norton client TracBack Solutions has been acquired by Shreveport, La.-based AFS. The small parcel freight audit company was founded in 1996 and is based in The Gulch. It processed nearly $100 million of shipping volume in the past year. The Nashville Post covered the acquisition today.

Owner of Peg Leg Porker is Set to Launch His Own Tennessee Bourbon

Bone McAllester Norton client Carey Bringle, who opened the Peg Leg Porker barbecue restaurant in the Gulch earlier this summer, announced to the Nashville Post today that he is set to launch his own Tennessee bourbon. Saying it fits with the “men’s lifestyle brand” better than whiskey, the 90-proof straight bourbon is made right here in Tennessee and will be introduced next month at a trade show, with statewide distribution planned in the near future. Fulton’s Tavern Slated to Open in Nashville’s Gulch Neighborhood

Bone McAllester Norton Welcomes Former U.S. Attorney, Current Assistant U.S. Attorney and Formation of Criminal Law Practice

Bone McAllester Norton announced today the addition of former U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee, Ed Yarbrough, along with current Assistant U.S. Attorney Alex Little. Peg Leg Porker Slated for End of Month Opening in The Gulch

Bone McAllester Norton client Carey Bringle, a local pitmaster, will open a new barbecue restaurant on Gleaves Street, just off The Gulch, in late April. Bringle, known for appearances on Chopped Grill Masters and BBQ Pitmasters, as well as having the second best barbecue sauce in the country by Bon Appetit magazine, says Peg Leg Porker will focus on the barbecue items native to Tennessee. Second Wind Coffee Bar to Open in SoBro This Summer
