Join Us for WaterCooler on 2/26 for The Interplay Between Architectural & Interior Design and Work

Come join us at WaterCooler on Tuesday, February 26 as we explore the Interplay of Work and Design.  How does good (or bad) design impact the quality of work?  Conversely, how do different types of work drive design?

We’ll take a tour of Emma, Inc.’s new space and see some of the other spaces at the newly renovated and historic trolley barns.  We’ll also hear from some of Nashville’s “it” architects and designers: Michael Ward of Allard Ward; Nick Dryden of DAAD; Jeff Casella of Gilbert, McLaughlin and Casella;  Gina Emmanuel of Centric Architecture; and Laret Casella from Casella InteriorsClint Smith and Bo Spessard of Emma will be on-hand to talk about design from a client’s perspective.

Afterward, we’ll head a couple blocks over to The Southern for drinks and continued conversation.

Join Us for WaterCooler on 1/30 at The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet

Happy 2013!

We're excited about our upcoming programs for WaterCooler and hope that you are ready to get back to networking with other Nashvillians. As we head into our fourth year, we are excited to begin this new season delving again into the business and innovation of the cultural arts in Nashville. This month, our friends Paul Vasterling and Jim Johnson of Nashville Ballet offer us a behind-the-curtain glimpse into the energy, the athleticism and the artistry that has propelled the 27-year-old Nashville Ballet to become the largest and most successful professional ballet company in the state.

January’s Nashville Ballet WaterCooler provides an unprecedented behind-the-scenes experience as participants watch final rehearsal’s for “Attitude,” a performance that features an innovative combination of dance, music and the production of an original work of visual art. Don’t miss a sneak peak of what will be this winter’s most talked about performance.

Wednesday, January 30th

5:30 - 6 p.m Cocktails and conversation during "Attitude" rehearsal

6-7 p.m. Discussion and guided tour of costumes, set production and rehearsal facilities with Paul Vesterling, artistic director/CEO, and Jim Johnson, director of sales and marketing

Afterward,  we will head to the new M.L. Rose location on Charlotte for beers and continued conversation.
