Intellectual Property Spring Institute will Feature Paul Kruse

Bone McAllester Norton attorney Paul Kruse has been added to the list of faculty at the Tennessee Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Spring Institute 2015. This all-day session will feature experts with advanced experience in trademarks, fair use and licensing.

Paul is a trademark attorney with the firm who helps clients across industries protect their trademarks with high quality, creative and comprehensive services, including trademark clearance, registration and policing. He also handles copyright, right of publicity and domain name matters that touch on trademark law.

David Anthony will Lead CLE Course on Evaluating New Client Inquiries

Anthony will lead a course on the best practices for evaluating new client inquiries for the Tennessee Bar Association. “Is Your Potential Client a Nigerian King” will uncover email schemes scammers are using against lawyers. David will discuss how attorneys and their firms can create a system for identifying the most common scams and evaluating the legitimacy of foreign inquiries.

Liquor Law Update with Will Cheek

Bone McAllester Norton attorney William T. Cheek III is presenting a course on liquor law for the Tennessee Bar Association tomorrow, December 2. “Liquor Law Update: WIGS, High Gravity Beer and Things that Make You Go Hmmmmm” will address the latest liquor laws and how they impact the liquor business in Tennessee. Specific topics will include wine in grocery stores (WIGS), the sale of high gravity beer and the ability wineries now have to open a retail store and a restaurant. This one-hour session takes place at noon via a webcast; one hour of CLE credit is available.

James Crumlin will Address Best Practices for New Lawyers

David Anthony will Address Collecting Debts in General Sessions for Tennessee Bar Association

The Tennessee Bar Association will hold a general practice summit next week, and Bone McAllester Norton attorney David M. Anthony is slated as a presenter. David, who practices in the Nashville firm’s commercial lending and creditors’ rights practice, will present “Collecting Debts in General Sessions” on Friday, Aug. 15. Rob Pinson will Present in “Shine and Wine” CLE

Pinson has been selected as a panelist to address the latest in alcohol and wine legislation at the Tennessee Bar Association’s 2014 Convention. “Shine and Wine” will address the latest in the wine in grocery stores legislation, as well as an insider’s look at the rules surrounding the craft distilling of moonshine. Rob Pinson, Anne Martin will Speak at Restaurant CLE
