Paul Kruse will Speak at the Tennessee Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Spring Institute 2014

This program will offer sophisticated topics and practical takeaways to IP lawyers related to software and bio-patents, recent developments in copyright law, trademark law, design patents and pre-filing investigations for IP litigation. The conference is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at the Tennessee Bar Center in Nashville.

Tennessean Interviews Stephen Zralek in a Story about a Blogger Battling for His Copyright

Bone McAllester Norton attorney Stephen Zralek spoke on a panel discussion last week at the Keen Digital Summit, which also included Turner Barr, whose “Around the World in 80 Jobs” blog was hijacked by staffing firm Adecco, and Stephen Oddo, co-founder of Walks of Italy, whom Barr partnered with to spread word about Adecco’s actions.

The Tennessean interviewed the panelists and featured a story in Saturday’s paper. Stephen said that artists and entrepreneurs can use methods to protect their work, namely copyright and trademark registration.

“Invest a little bit of time and money on the front end to protect yourself,” he said.

Paul Kruse Talks to the Tennessean about Kraft Foods Ruling

Bone McAllester Norton attorney Paul Kruse discussed the first round of a trademark dispute between Kraft Foods and Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores in today’s Tennessean. The preliminary injunction will keep Cracker Barrel products off grocery shelves for now.

Paul Kruse Weighs in on Cracker Barrel, Kraft Fight over Grocery Store Sales

Bone McAllester Norton attorney Paul W. Kruse offered the Tennessean insight into the lawsuit Kraft Foods has against Lebanon-based Cracker Barrel Old County Stores Inc.’s plan to start selling packaged food items in grocery stores.
